Community Rules & Values

Our community rules:

  1. Be kind
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect and kindness. Communication can be difficult for neurodivergent people (especially when there are a lot of us in one virtual place) so please be understanding of fellow members.

  2. No hate speech or bullying
Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation or identity will not be tolerated.

  3. No promotions or spam
Give more to this group than you take. Spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed. Promoting your own work (your latest article/podcast/achievement) is highly encouraged.

  4. Respect everyone's privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. We don't encourage sharing personal information but we understand that this community may involve disclosing medical information and diagnoses. Please treat this information as private and ensure what's shared in the group stays in the group.

  5. Respect those outside the community
The same rules that apply to how we treat one another also apply to how we speak about those outside the community. Sharing private screenshots, giving negative feedback on companies, agencies, tool providers or industry folks is not allowed.

  6. There's no such thing as a "stupid question"
Please don't caveat your questions as stupid or basic or simple. We're all in different stages of our neurodivergent journey and are here to help each other.

Our community values:

  1. Be kind to each other

  2. Be respectful

  3. Be judgement-free

  4. Be understanding
